Parking
Downtown is celebrated for its pedestrian-friendly environment and easy access to public transportation. However, for those who prefer to commute by car, Downtown Kalamazoo offers a wealth of parking solutions.
Free 90 minute parking is now offered in the Epic Center & Kalamazoo Mall ramps! With over 400 free 90-minute on-street parking spaces, as well as various paid parking garages and lots, finding a suitable parking spot is a breeze. On-street metered parking is also available throughout the downtown area, with rates ranging from $1.75 per hour to $3 per day, and these spots are free after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Residents, employees, and visitors seeking extended parking options can obtain monthly parking permits by contacting Central City Parking at 269.342.6383.
For avid cyclists, downtown Kalamazoo offers secure bike lockers, providing enclosed storage for bicycles and accessories. These lockers are available for rent on a monthly, seasonal, or annual basis. Details and rental options can be found at various locations.

Kalamazoo is a city in the southwest region of the US state of Michigan. At the 2010 census, Kalamazoo had a population of 74,262.
One of Kalamazoo's most notable features is The Kalamazoo Mall, an outdoor pedestrian shopping mall. The city created the mall in 1959 by closing part of Burdick Street to auto traffic, although two of the mall's four blocks have been reopened to auto traffic since 1999. Kalamazoo is home tWMU, a large public university, Kalamazoo College, a private liberal arts college, and KVCC, a two-year community college.
